READING MOOMBA - VIDEO
Greetings all! I hope it's been a pleasant and peaceful new beginning where you are. Mine was glorious at the Winter Ball, which went off without a hitch: engaging guests dressed to impress, delicious dinner, ample and free-flowing libations and a band to well, beat the band! All said, it was a grand old time. Then comes Monday and the inevitable deflation into depression (at least for me) when it's all over with. One works so hard to create enchantment for one brief shining evening only to wake up the next morning with a terrific hangover and a little glitter on your face. But, thanks to many loving friends and family I am lifted back up. I hope you have the same support if and when you need it. Mental health is as important to life as your physical health. Don't neglect it or ignore it. Forward!
I've started a new project called Reading Moomba. The book tour is being planned for the Spring and will kick off in Manhattan. Stay tuned for details on that and the rest of the tour. But while that is happening I have been making a little video experiment and we'll have to see how far that goes. You know, other projects pop up for attention and one must juggle all the balls. Not one, but two! new TV projects are on the table, plus a few design projects, and the serious pulling from within to write a new book (the Charleston book!). So, if I look crazy eyes in the video below, it's not crack, it's life. This life, my life, and it is a lot for these narrow shoulders. Courage!
