If one is running a tab, a bit more may be in order. It is also a good idea to tip a bit more if one makes an appearance at a particular bar more than twice a month. This will give you a good name and pay dividends. It is also to be remembered that if you buy someone else a drink, it is upon you to tip for that drink too.
