Strong. This terrible news came to me just a few days ago and I think it’s a sad comment on the times. The demise of this bastion of social graciousness is just hard to bear and I hope it is not a portent of the rest of what defines propriety in the world of discourse and behavior. Computers are great but they will never take the place of certain types of communications where only a beautiful work of writing paper will do.
